Why "Indigo & Co."?

At Indigo & Co., we believe in each individual's uniqueness and worth.

As the rarest colour in the natural world, and also the colour of royalty in many cultures, indigo captures what we believe in – that every individual is unique, important, and worthy of being heard and cared for. The "& Co.” part of our name represents the integral community element of our work and our commitment to promoting the wellbeing of our clients. We aim to foster collaboration, cohesion, and co-operation between stakeholders, which is also represented by the adjoining hands in our logo. We want to connect people to provide better care.

The hands also represent how we seek to hold space for individuals and loved ones along their journeys. Our mental health professionals facilitate thoughtful consideration and processing at various points in your journey, and our space is one where you can come to find clarity and peace.

Philosophy of Care

Our centre seeks to provide a safe and respectful space to all who come to us. Our scope of care encompasses providing care and receiving referrals for distressed individuals in the area of human sexuality, including but not limited to sexual orientation and gender identity. We adopt a Biopsychosocial-Spiritual (BPSS) approach and integrate trauma-informed care as a central component of our assessments and care plans. All work that we do is guided by our Care Values: Respect, Integrity, Safety, and Excellence (RISE).
