What information does Indigo & Co. collect about me?

We typically collect basic information such as name, address, and contact details at necessary touchpoints. Other details such as medical records, financial records, pictures, and videos, may also be collected if needed. Data collected enables us to ensure that your interaction with us will be professional, informed, and of the best quality that we can offer. Such data may be stored in electronic or non-electronic form.

 

How does Indigo & Co. use information about me?

Your information is used to process your application for clinical and/or social services, to evaluate your suitability for such services, to determine your eligibility for financial subsidies or social assistance, to seek aid from governmental bodies or other voluntary welfare organisations, to manage your relationship with Indigo & Co. (including but not limited to the provision of clinical services, donations, volunteer services, publicity and testimonials), communicate with you about our charity’s initiatives and related activities such as events and opportunities and supports our interactions with vendors and other service providers.

 

Does Indigo & Co. share my data with third parties?

We will only share information with third parties if:

(a) it is necessary for any purpose that is clearly in your interest and consent cannot be reasonably obtained in a timely way;

(b) it is necessary to respond to an emergency that threatens the life, health or safety of yourself or another individual;

(c) it is necessary in the national interest;

(d) the personal data is publicly available;

(e) it is necessary for any investigation or proceedings; and

(f) it is required based on the applicable laws and/or regulations.

How will my Data be Protected & Retained

We value the security of Personal Data and take all reasonable precautions to protect it from misuse, loss, unauthorized access, modification, or disclosure.

We will keep your Personal Data for a reasonable period for the purposes as cited or until you request for us to delete the Personal Data or as required by law.

How can I update my personal information or withdraw my consent from Indigo to retain and use my personal information?

You may request to update, correct your personal data, or withdraw your consent for the collection, use, and/or disclosure of your personal data at any time by emailing us at DPO@indigo-co.org. We will always respect your decision to withdraw your consent. As this may restrict our ability to continue serving you well, Indigo & Co. reserves the right to decide whether to continue or to terminate our services.

Right to Amend Personal Data Protection Policy
